Isaac Cookson
A GEORGE II TANKARD of conventional form with mid-rib, with scroll thumb-piece, the double scroll handle with heart-shaped terminal. The handle has original marriage initials (S, I*M) and also the makers mark for Isaac Cookson.
Christie: Tapering sides applied with a narrow girdle, the unmarked cover, possibly a replacement, with scrolled thumbpiece, the handle engraved with initials S over I * M and terminating in a heart-shaped cartouche
