Silver two-handled bowl, flat bottom with shaped foot merging with rounded sides; the upper parts of which are scalloped; ornamented scrolling handles; the lower part of the sides and the underside with engraved and punched decoration; the upper part plain except for initials and date as follows, 'S R over S C June 26, 1689'.

Hallmarks (on base); three castles; leopard's head crowned; lion passant; year letter: Old English D; no maker's mark.
